School of Education faculty and students support the three-fold mission of the University of California: research, teaching, and service. The School’s interdisciplinary faculty study how people learn, how knowledge can be imparted more effectively and more equitably, and how policies and practices influence opportunity, motivation, and achievement. Faculty and students also work closely with K-12 schools and partner with local organizations to address community needs.
Gifts from our donors fund research in critical areas such as second language acquisition, use of technology to facilitate instruction, and early childhood development. Donor gifts are important for the recruitment of world-class faculty who further the School’s educational mission. Donor gifts provide important resources for attracting and supporting outstanding students in their journey toward becoming educational leaders.
Please take the time to learn more about how you can help to further our continued mission of research, teaching, and service excellence.
