Giving: Undergraduate Scholarships and Graduate Fellowships

Your contribution to the new Undergraduate Major in Education Sciences, the Minor in Educational Studies, the Certificate in After School Education, or the Cal Teach Science and Math Program will help promising undergraduates complete their bachelor’s degree and move on to positions that inspire and nurture other young minds or be positioned for further study in graduate school.

Donations to graduate programs support candidates in the teacher credential, Master of Arts in Teaching, or research-focused doctoral program.


  • The Promising Future Teacher Award is given to given to candidates in the Teacher Credential program who have demonstrated through their scholarship and activities a commitment to improving the lives and opportunities of students.

  • The Mary Roosevelt Honor Scholar in Teaching and Learning is given to highly qualified candidates entering the 15-month Master of Arts in Teaching program.

  • The Ph.D. in Education Fellowship supports a doctoral student's research in one of three specializations: Learning, Cognition, and Development; Educational Policy and Social Context; or Language, Literacy, and Technology.
