Learn how you can earn your teaching credential and a master's degree in 14 months
All prospective/current applicants for the Master of Arts in Teaching program are encouraged to attend one of the following information sessions to learn how we can meet your professional and academic needs. These sessions will provide an overview of the program structure for elementary and secondary teacher candidates. We will address admission requirements along with detailed information on the application process and deadlines.
MAT/Credential Information Sessions
Information sessions are held in the School of Education Building on the Second Floor.
Director of Teacher Education Virginia Panish, Program Coordinators Acacia Warren and Susan Toma-Berge, and Student Affairs Counselors invite you for an informal chat as you seek the best program for you and begin to plan the important steps to earning your MAT and becoming a teacher. You can ask questions, learn about the features of our programs, and find out why we think UC Irvine is the best program for future teachers.
Coffee chats are held in the School of Education Building on the Second Floor.
Online Information Sessions
To accommodate individuals who are unable to attend an on-campus information session, we have arranged monthly online sessions. To participate in a Zoom information session, please complete the form linked below. The online session for June will be held on Monday 6/15/20 from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. (PST). These sessions are limited to 25 participants. If we can accommodate your request, you will receive an invitation to participate a few days before the meeting is scheduled.
