Kassandra Flores is a Ph.D. student specializing in Educational Policy & Social Context (EPSC). She is interested in how transfer-intending community college students navigate higher education. In particular, she wishes to study how these students' holistic experiences with academic policies (e.g., AB 705), faculty, student services specialists, peers, and familial support influence rates of transfer.
Kassandra earned her bachelor's degree in Criminology, Law, and Society with minors in Statistics and Psychological Science from the University of California, Irvine and two Associate's Degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies: Mathematics and Science and Interdisciplinary Studies: Social Science from Fullerton College.
