Project Goals 

  • To identify obstacles impeding science achievement, particularly for at risk students
  • To provide data that can be used for targeting science interventions delivered in U.S. schools

Methodology: Using the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study - Kindergarten Cohort, researchers will study science achievement growth trajectories from grade 3 through grade 8 to identify obstacles impeding science achievement.
