PhD in Education student Kayla Puente was honored at the May 28 Dynamic Womxn of UCI Awards Ceremony.
Dynamic Womxn of UCI, now in its 6th year, celebrates womxn leaders and role models who are making a difference in the UCI community. Kayla was recognized for XXXX. Kayla is a third year doctoral student specializing in Human Development in Context. Her research interests include academic motivation and achievement, acculturation and biculturalism, underrepresented students, mindset, parent-child relationships, and socio-emotional development.
