New Certificate Program Helps Educators Navigate the Role of AI in the Classroom
|
Nearly every educator today is asking the same question: How does generative AI impact my class?
This fall, the UC Irvine School of Education’s Teacher Academy, alongside the UC Irvine Digital Learning Lab and the National Writing Project, is launching a fully online AI in Education Certificate Program to help educators answer that question with confidence, clarity, and purpose. Starting September 24, 2025, this three-course program is designed to equip K–12 educators with both the foundational knowledge and practical tools to integrate AI into teaching and learning, while keeping equity, ethics, and student skill-building at the center. |
Participants will:
Educators who participate in the program will earn a certificate and continuing education units, and leave with the confidence to lead conversations and instruction around the most disruptive technology of our time.
