Last weekend, five undergraduate leaders proudly represented the School of Education at the Randy Lewis All-University Leadership Conference, a campus-wide event designed to strengthen student leadership and connection across UCI.
Representing Teachers of Tomorrow (ToT), the Bilingual Teacher Student Association (BTSA), and the Peer Academic Advising Program, these students spent the weekend participating in interactive workshops, networking with peers across disciplines, and reflecting on how they can lead and inspire within the School of Education community. “I made a lot of connections with other students, staff, and faculty, and I gained insight into different life paths and leadership styles,” shared Sampson Deaton, a ToT student leader. “It’s something I’ll carry with me this year and beyond.” |
The School of Education was represented by Ravdeep Singh and Sampson Deaton (ToT), Fabiel Ayala and Quinn Oeppinger (BTSA), and Mariajose Lopez-Ochoa (Lead Peer Academic Advisor).
