Grace Lee Receives Fulbright Specialist Award

Grace Lee, Multiple Subject Supervisor in the Master of Arts in Teaching + Credential (MAT) Program, has been selected as a Fulbright Specialist Award recipient by the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. This prestigious honor recognizes her academic and professional accomplishments, leadership, and commitment to building international partnerships.

As part of the award, Lee will complete a project with the Philippine Department of Education, focused on exchanging knowledge and supporting educational initiatives that benefit students, educators, and communities in both the Philippines and the United States. She is one of more than 400 U.S. citizens each year who share their expertise abroad through the Fulbright Specialist Program, the nation’s flagship international educational exchange initiative.

In addition to this international work, Lee continues to support future educators at UC Irvine, supervising candidates in the MAT Multiple Subject Program and teaching ED 362 in the winter quarter.
