Paola Guerrero Rosada Named 2025–26 UCI Hellman Fellow

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Paola Guerrero Rosada, who has been selected as a 2025–26 UCI Hellman Fellow—one of the university’s most prestigious recognitions for early-career faculty.

The Hellman Fellowship supports promising junior faculty as they pursue innovative, high-impact research. Professor Guerrero Rosada received a $50,000 award for her project, “Designing and Implementing a Quality Improvement Intervention for Science, Math, and Literacy in Puerto Rico.” The project aims to strengthen educational outcomes across core subjects by developing and testing a quality improvement model tailored to the needs of Puerto Rican schools.
