School of Education Community Presents at UCLA Language Conference

Last week, members of the School of Education community presented their research at the Fifth International Conference on Heritage/Community Languages at UCLA. Presenters included doctoral students Alexandra Roman Irizarry, Guadalupe Mendoza, and Nicole Vargas Fuentes, visiting scholar Dr. Nanette Svenson, and recent graduate Catherine Maximous (Education Sciences '25), now a doctoral student at UC San Diego.
Additional students and researchers from the Bilingualism, Mind, and Brain Lab also participated, highlighting the continued impact of our community in this field. |
