UC Irvine Alum Named Riverside County Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Lisa Moe, a proud alumna of UC Irvine’s Master of Arts in Teaching + Credential (MAT) program, who was named the 2026 Riverside County Teacher of the Year! A passionate sixth-grade teacher at Philistine Rondo School of Discovery, Lisa is known for her joyful, student-centered classroom and her national leadership in STEM education.

Reflecting on her time at UCI, Moe shared, “The MAT program built my foundation. I carry it with me into every lesson, every keynote, and every moment with my students.”
