Biography
Claudia is an educator, learning designer, and developmental psychologist whose work explores how people learn, create, and thrive across the lifespan. She operates at the intersection of research, design, and social innovation, translating insights from the learning sciences into programs and partnerships that expand access to meaningful educational experiences.
She currently leads the launch and implementation of the Master of Education Sciences in Artificial Intelligence & Learning Analytics (MES-AILA) at UC Irvine, overseeing program development, student experience, and cross-campus collaboration. Her work spans outreach, admissions, career pathways, and the design of supportive learning ecosystems for a diverse, future-ready student body.
Claudia brings extensive experience across universities, museums, and nonprofit organizations. Her background includes leadership roles at UC Irvine’s Digital Media & Learning Research Hub, the Exploratorium, and Florida International University, where she designed and managed large-scale, grant-funded initiatives focused on digital learning, STEM education, and civic engagement.
She is particularly interested in designing learning systems that support human flourishing—fostering not only skills, but also identity, belonging, and agency.
