Members of Teachers of Tomorrow (TOT) recently partnered with PBS SoCal for a service project benefiting educators across Southern California. During the event, students assembled 50 Quarterly Resource Kits filled with educational activities, learning games, and classroom resources that will be distributed to teachers throughout the region.
The volunteer opportunity built on PBS SoCal's earlier visit with TOT members, where representatives shared insights about their educational initiatives, community impact, and opportunities for student involvement. |
"I had a great time volunteering with PBS," said Avery Lowe. "I grew up watching their shows and being able to give back to the community with the boxes felt very special."
"Having the opportunity to volunteer at PBS was an incredible experience," added Donya-Sara Madani. "Not only was the volunteering event lots of fun, but it also felt really rewarding to give back to our community."
