
Biography
Lora Cawelti is a first year PhD student in the school of Education with a specialization in Educational Policy and Social Context (EPSC).
She has been working as a teaching artist and administrator in the field of arts education at non-profits and arts institutions for the past 14 years.
Most recently, Lora was Associate Director overseeing in-school programs and teacher training at P.S. ARTS, a Los Angeles area non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing arts education to underserved public schools and communities.
Lora holds B.A.s in Music and English from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a M.A. in Educational Psychology from Pepperdine University.
