"CalTeach students learn to design mathematics and science instruction that is aligned with the Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards while also addressing issues of sustainability, such as the exploitation of energy resources or the impact of air pollution on communities. The poster session provides students with the opportunity to share with colleagues and faculty the complex process of designing lessons that are driven by specific learning objectives, are informed by learning theories and research on equity and inclusiveness, and include formative assessments."
