UCI CalTeach is a unique academic program that recruits talented undergraduate science and math majors to prepare for a teaching career. It is jointly sponsored by the School of Biological Sciences, School of Physical Sciences, and School of Education.

Program Options

4-Year Option 
Combine a math or science bachelor's degree with a secondary teaching credential; earn both in 4 years.

4+1 Option
Prepare for a post-baccalaureate teaching credential by earning a math or science bachelor's degree while completing education courses that can be applied to a post-baccalaureate teaching credential.
