"We Salute You" Dinner Honors Faculty and Staff Who Built UCI's School of Education
Crystal Kochendorfer was one of the honorees who shared her memories at the School of Education Dinner commemorating early faculty and administrators. Ms. Kochendorfer, the first student to enroll in the newly-established UC Irvine Office of Teacher Education in 1967, received her teacher credential in 1968. Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow Featured in Forbes' List of "30 Under 30" in Education
UCI Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow/Assistant Professor Constance Iloh has been selected as one of Forbes Magazine's "30 Under 30" in the category of education. She is the only education scholar/researcher selected in all 20 categories represented on the Forbes 30 under 30 lists. Read more.

MAT Student Awarded LaVerne Noyes Scholarship
Master of Arts in Teaching candidate Alison Hensley has been awarded the 2016 LaVerne Noyes Fellowship by UCI Graduate Division. The recipient must be an academically superior student pursuing a graduate degree and a direct descendant of a World War I U.S. Navy or Army veteran. Read more.
