Presents at Institute for Research on Poverty Conference
Professor George Farkas presented at the Institute for Research on Poverty's 2016 Conference at the University of Wisconsin. The conference explored promising practices during the early years of life. Dr. Farkas' presentation was titled "K-8 Programs to Reduce the Intergenerational Transmission of Poverty." PowerPoint
Michael Leo Receives Ford Foundation Fellowship
Ph.D. student Michael Leo has received a 2016 Ford Foundation Predissertation Fellowship to pursue his study of the role of siblings in the development of STEM motivation and academic achievement. Read more.

Credential student Gabriela Gomez has received the 2016 Carlos Pinochet Award from the California Association of Bilingual Education (CABE). This is the 5th year that a UCI Multiple Subject Candidate has received the CABE award. Read more.

School Hosts Reception for St. Margaret's Student Artists
