Biography
Jennifer K. Duer is a doctoral student in the School of Education with a specialization in Educational Policy and Social Context (EPSC).
Jennifer is interested in studying poverty alleviation tools to improve the well-being of children and families. At the state level, her work has examined the characteristics of early childhood education programs participating in Quality Rating and Improvement Systems (QRIS) and the implications of blended funding models in early childhood settings. In separate research, she is examining Early Head Start and its impacts on children and families.
Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from Furman University with a B.S. in Psychology and minor in Poverty Studies in 2016.
