Biography
Leiny is specializing in Teaching, Learning and Education Improvement (TLEI) at UC Irvine. Her research interests lie in the intersection of design theory, critical theory, and learning sciences with a focus on STEM K-12 education. Her prior work in STEM education sparked her interest in using research methods to inform and improve learning experiences for underrepresented youth.
Leiny received a BS in Engineering from Tufts University and an MA in Education: Learning, Design, and Technology from Stanford University.
