Jacob “Jake” Kepins is a fourth year doctoral student specializing in Educational Policy and Social Context (EPSC).
His research blends theory and methods in the economic and sociological research traditions. His work focuses on social stratification and organizational processes. He is particularly interested in how organizational processes (e.g. discipline, grading, tracking) ameliorate or exacerbate educational inequality and for whom.
