Biography
Yujia is a Ph.D. student specializing in Education Policy and Social Context (EPSC). Her research interests focus on understanding social and educational inequality by examining the functioning mechanisms of stakeholders and social contexts surrounding schools and the educational system in general.
Prior to coming to UCI, Yujia worked as a research assistant in the Collaborative Innovation Center of Assessment toward Basic Education Quality (National Assessment Center of Education Quality, MOE, China) at Beijing Normal University. She also worked as a graduate intern in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.
Yujia received her bachelor degree in Sociology from Peking University and master's degree in International Education Policy and Management from Vanderbilt University.
