Biography
Alexandria Weaver is a Ph.D. student in the School of Education specializing in Human Development and is a recipient of the 2019 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Syracuse University, and completed a post-baccalaureate in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh investigating the effects of mindfulness training on emotion regulation and learning.
Alexandria’s love of music and experience as a classical pianist and music instructor inspired her interests in learning and memory. Currently, she investigates the effects of cognitive training and is interested in experiences and lifestyle factors that support cognitive health with aging.
