
Biography
Paul Yoo is interested in mechanisms of education and social systems that enable upward mobility and improve outcomes for disadvantaged populations; and how research and data can be leveraged to address issues of inequality across societal sectors (e.g., education, communities, and housing).
Previously, he has worked as a policy analyst at the RAND Corporation contributing to research on human capital development, education organizations and environments, measurement of teaching and learning, and other topics. Prior to RAND, he completed his masters at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and has worked as an education practitioner in various capacities (e.g., classroom teaching, curriculum design, program implementation) in South Korea and China.
