Biography
Xiaowen Xu is a doctoral candidate majoring in Education Economics and Management at the Graduate School of Education, Peking University in China. Her PhD dissertation is about HUKOU and original neighborhoods' impact on higher education graduates.
Xiaowen's research is focused on the higher education area, including graduates' employment and labor market problem in China, economic returns to higher education, and the use of quantitative research methods in evaluating the effects of governmental policies and projects on educational equity and efficiency.
Currently, she is working with Assistant Professor Di Xu on evaluating place/neighborhood impacts on higher education graduates.
