Lourdes graduated from UC Irvine with a B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior and Education Sciences. During her time at UCI she worked at Jumpstart for four years as both a Corps Member and Team Leader, serving children in different communities within Santa Ana. Additionally, she worked as a Peer Academic Advisor for the School of Education providing academic advising to her peers from the school of education and other academic units.
