More than 2 billion people globally need glasses but lack access due to income, distance, or disaster. Seeing clearly provides the opportunity for adults and children to succeed at school or work, and care for their families.
In partnership with UCI Human Resources and VSP—Eye Make A Difference® — an Eyes of Hope® program, the School of Education is seeking donated glasses to help those in need. If you have glasses that you would like to donate, please drop them off in the box located at the front desk in Suite 3200 in the School of Education. VSP Global will work with Lions Clubs International to clean, refurbish, and label donated glasses for VSP network doctors and schools of optometry to use on global eye care missions.
