New Director of Undergraduate Programs to focus on elevating undergraduate student experience1/9/2020
Since completing her Ph.D. in Education in 2013, Hansen has served as a lecturer for both the undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Education Sciences (BAES) and the Master of Arts in Teaching/Credential (MAT) programs. Since 2002, she has served as an undergraduate course lecturer at California State University, Long Beach.
Hansen's areas of expertise include human development and learning, research methods, multicultural education, and teacher preparation. As the community service specialist at Coastline Community College, she developed courses, recruited and oversaw instructors, and developed course schedules. “Hansen’s extensive knowledge and expertise will further the quality and rigor of the school’s undergraduate program,” said Richard Arum, dean and professor, UCI School of Education. “She is a passionate educator, and will use her prior experience as both a student and lecturer at UCI to enhance our school’s undergraduate experience.” Comments are closed.
