"Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said in his quote 'All the knowledge I possess everyone else can acquire, but my heart is all my own,'" Sawyer said. "My heart for the past 20 years has led me towards the path of becoming an educator. My goal as a future educator is to instill in my students the benefits of becoming a lifelong learner, that there are no boundaries to their education and their life is not a single story."
