Second Annual BNU-UCI Doctoral Student Forum in Higher Education Leadership and Management11/1/2018
Faculty and doctoral students from Beijing Normal University arrived at UC Irvine on November 3 for the Second Annual BNU-UCI Doctoral Student Forum in Higher Education Leadership and Management.
From November 5 through 9, the scholars are meeting with educators and administrators at UC Irvine; Cal State University, Fullerton; Chapman University; and Compton College. Visits at UCI will include the School of Education, Langson Library, UCI Student Services, Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP), Grad and Undergrad Divisions, UCI Student Affairs, Center for Educational Partnerships (CFEP), the Office of Inclusive Excellence, and the School of Social Sciences. Following their four days of visits and research, the BNU scholars will present their research findings to School of Education faculty and doctoral students at a Friday afternoon Forum on Higher Education Leadership and Management. Throughout their visit, the BNU guests are being mentored by Professors Liane Brouillette, and Judith Sandholtz. The 2018 BNU-UCI Exchange is coordinated by Dr. Yao Yun (BNU), Dean Richard Arum, Assistant Professor Di Xu, and Darlene Boyd from the Center for Educational Partnerships. Comments are closed.
