Visiting scholar Kyu Yon Lim will be presenting her work titled "Design Principles for a Student Dashboard: A Case of Korean MOOC" this Friday, February 1, during the Digital Learning Lab meeting, 12:00 to 1:00 pm, in the Public Service Building Conference Room (next to UCI Parking office, above the police station). Abstract In this talk, I would like to share my experiences related to dashboard design to support learners' self-regulated learning in the MOOC learning environment. In particular, researchers first identified the design principles based on the results of literature review and learner needs analysis, following guidelines from the Developmental Research approach. This project, funded by the Korea National Research Foundation, is now entering its 3rd, final year, and we are working on the prototype design. Participant comments will be welcomed.
