Peter McPartlan has accepted a position as a post-doctoral fellow at San Diego State University in the Department of Psychology and the Center for Research in Mathematics and Science Education. He will be working with Dr. Dustin Thomas on the NSF-funded project “Understanding and Removing Barriers for Adoption and Implementation of a Proven Intervention for Improving Biology Student Success.”
Peter is joining an interdisciplinary group of SDSU researchers from social psychology, education, and educational psychology. His responsibilities will include collection, analyses, and dissemination of the data through reports, presentations, and publications. Peter was selected for his experience and demonstrated proficiency in project management, mixed- method research design, data collection, analyses in both lab-based and naturalistic settings, and for his writing skills. During his PhD studies, Peter specialized in Learning, Teaching, Cognition, and Development (LTCD). He is advised by Distinguished Professor Jacquelynne Eccles. Comments are closed.
