Associate Professor Stephanie Reich has been elected a Fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA).
APA Fellowship is a special distinction for those members who have received a doctoral degree in psychology or a related field from a regionally accredited institution and can show evidence of unusual and outstanding contributions in the field of psychology. Fellow status requires that a person's work have had a national impact on the discipline beyond a local, state or regional level. Reich is associated with APA Division 27, Society for Community Research and Action: Division of Community Psychology. Division 27 encourages the development of theory, research, and practice relevant to the reciprocal relationships between individuals and the social system which constitute the community context. Reich's research focuses on socio-emotional development, parent-child interactions, peer networks, and social affordances of technology.
