Second Annual Conference: Sustainability Goes to School
December 6, 2017 4:00 to 6:00 pm Education 2010 Open to the Public Description: On Wednesday, December 6, students in Education 55: Knowing and Learning in Mathematics and Science will share their final projects - unit plans centered on sustainability topics. Their task has been to translate learning theories into design principles for effective teaching and learning and lesson activities. The conference has been organized in collaboration with Dr. Jessica Pratt and students enrolled in the Minor in Global Sustainability who have worked with the Cal Teach students as “sustainability consultants” to design interdisciplinary lessons for middle and high-school students. The students would love to get your feedback on their unit plans.
