Assistant Professor Di Xu has been awarded a 2018 "40 for 40 Fellowship" from the APPAM Policy Council. APPAM, Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management, was created at a May 1979 conference at Duke University by representatives of 15 policy schools and research institutes with the goal of improving public policy and management by fostering excellence in research, analysis, and education. The organization currently has over 2,500 individual and 100 institutional members and hosts a multidisciplinary conference each fall.
Dr. Xu will attend the 2018 fall APPAM Policy Conference, November 8-10, in Washington, D.C., where she will be honored with a plaque for demonstrating highest quality work on current and emerging policy and management issues.
