SoE Faculty and Grad Students Volunteer to Mentor and Advise Undergraduate Researchers

1/29/2018

In preparation for the 2018 UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium, School of Education faculty and graduate students are serving as advisors and mentors for undergraduates pursuing individual and group research.

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) in the Division of Undergraduate Education encourages and facilitates research and creative activities by undergraduates from all schools and academic disciplines at UCI. The mission of UROP is to integrate undergraduate students into the research culture of the University by providing opportunities for faculty and students to work together.

Until the May symposium, faculty and graduate students have been advising and mentoring undergraduates through the research process, including proposal writing, developing research plans, facilitating project management, and creating a final product for public presentation on May 19th, between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm at the UCI Student Center.
