Students Present Research at 2018 Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program Symposium (UROP)6/3/2018
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) in the Division of Undergraduate Education encourages and facilitates research and creative activities by undergraduates from all schools and academic disciplines at UCI. The mission of UROP is to integrate undergraduate students into the research culture of the University by providing opportunities for faculty and students to work together. During the academic year, faculty and graduate students advise and mentor undergraduate UROP participants through the research process, including proposal writing, developing research plans, facilitating project management, and creating a final product for public presentation. UROP students presented their 2017-2018 research at a symposium, held this year on May 19th, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm at the UCI Student Center.
